Dr. Olmert is a leading Israeli authority on Middle East affairs. He is the former
Director of the Government Press Office and Advisor to Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir
and served as an advisor to former Defense Minister Moshe Arens. Dr. Olmert headed the
Syria and Lebanon desks at Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Middle East Studies. Today
Dr. Olmert is a political columnist for Yediot Aharonot, Israel’s largest circulation
daily and a regular commentator for the The Jerusalem Post.

Yossi Olmert got into so many problems that show he cannot think clearly even
in his personal life, so how can we expect to have a balanced view from this person.
Other than being the brother-of-you-know-who.
And that does not make anyone expert on anything.
