Referendum bill will restore faith in politics – Clegg

Deputy PM Nick Clegg has defended the coalition’s plans for a referendum on the voting system – amid criticism from both Labour and Conservative MPs. | BBC
The UK House of Commons has 650 MPs! I think with that number they could afford to move to mixed-member proportional representation. If not in the lower house, in their musty old House of Lords, perhaps.
