Note to Readers

–With regards to the current situation in Iran: those with knowledge about the situation are stating the mainstream corporate media is missing the point more than usual and the bias of their reporting (basically rumour and outright lies) is continuing at a remarkable pace. I would also caution that this includes twitter reports as part of this barrage of false information.
It has been suggested to me that reading Robert Fisk’s articles in the Independent are (as usual) the most accurate in their analysis. Paul Craig Roberts is also an interesting read where he writes what many of us suspect about the current “uprising”. Historical context is always important, though maybe more so when trying to make sense of this situations.
