–This is bad on so many levels. How is it that they think if we allow energy to flow according to the market that it will result in energy security for each country? If we lose local democratic control over our energy then we lose the ability to regulate the production of that energy. If we do not regulate the production of energy then we are necessarily in a state that is unsustainable.

–The British people should be ashamed at the way that their supposed democratic institution is behaving towards an MP that has overwhelming support. The idea that the Commons can actually ban an elected official from sitting is outrageous. The only people that should be able to withdraw their representative is the people that voted them into that position in the first place.
