–Right… that’s what we need. More military presence in cities. There is a reason that the military should not be in cities and it has a lot to do with the power of the state. The last thing we want in our major cities is a military force able to be used against the masses at the whim of some politician.

–Wouldn’t this be something!?! Two central business cities brought to a halt by strike action because the state is trying to cut costs at the expense of workers. In London it is cutting of jobs and in New York it is gaining back of benefits given up to help the NY economy. Here is the news release from the Transport Union explaining their reasons for the New Year’s Eve Strike. Support the workers!
