–The RedPepper is asking people to look to the Bloggers for news on the G8. I would sencond that with a caution that they check more than one blogger site to see if the story is real. Bloggers might be able to get the real story but it should not fool people into believing that real media reform is needed.

It deals with the Stalinist betrayal of the Spanish revolution of 1936 and the consequent implementation of Franco’s fascist rule. Included at the bottom of the page is a brief critique of the article by the Spartacists.

New York teenager deported to Bangladesh FBI held girl as “suicide bomber” suspect
–If you are looking for cases that spell out how dangerous and wrong it is to do racial profiling then have a read of this article. A 16 year-old has been deported to a country they she does not know just because she “looks” like a suicide bomber. We must all react to these injustices.
