CBC News: Parliament mulls warning labels on alcohol
–We already have warning labels on alcohol. The idea for labels on cigarets was to counter the agressive advertizing by cigaret companies. Warning labels on alcohol is a bit of a streach from this position.

CBC News: Canada won’t join missile defence plan
–This is a win for progressives and sober minded people everywhere. It is too bad that we are still supporting the US tracking system with NORAD. The anouncement timing is part of a diversion tactic used by the government all the time… everything happens all at once, or at least it seems that way in this government.

–Summers, the sexist, is keeping his position at Harvard. I think that it is fine. The guy is free to have any oppinions he wants. However, there should be a lot of eyes peering over all the decisions that he makes when it comes to women. He should take a course on social darwinism and its pitfalls.
