CBC News: Toxins from Goose Bay airbase may be spreading, DND warns
–Bases need to be monitored more closely if there are any suspicians that toxins are reaching the surrounding ecology. There is no reason that these military bases should not be following the most restrictive evironmental policies.

–There still looks to be colaboration between the Sudanese government army and the Janjaweed and the results are continuing to be more murders. There needs to be more focus on this region. The people who are organizing this need to be stopped.

–The murder of the homeless is a vile act and the people of Brazil need to stand united against these attackers and to help protect the most vulnerable of people. The social far-right need to be confronted through education and social programmes or this kind of act will spread.

–The reforms Schroder is bringing in are going to hurt the people of the country and the pain is going to be felt the closer you are to bottom of the income brackets. –Journalists should not be the target no matter what side of the Iraqi conflict you are on. This should be condemned by both sides. The Italians along with everyone else should pull out. The arguement that the US forces need to “finish” the job they started is not one that has any rationality to it.
